Sales Supervisor
Job Summary of Sales Supervisor:
This role entails understanding and performing the routine activities of a retail store, providing support to store leaders, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. It encompasses hands-on coaching from seasoned professionals to acquire expertise in staffing, inventory control, food safety measures, product display strategies, and customer service standards. The individual will aid in maintaining a clean, well-organized, and adequately stocked setting, as well as developing skills for potential leadership roles in the organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Supervisor:
- Ensure a friendly environment by warmly welcoming guests.
- Offer support in running store operations by gaining knowledge and assisting in scheduling, advising, and training staff members.
- Manage stock levels and replenish goods to sustain proper inventory amounts and organized shelf layouts.
- Uphold rules related to food safety, quality control, and merchandising norms in dining areas.
- Keep the store’s premises clean and sanitary, with particular attention to the cleanliness of the coffee stations, food prep areas, and restrooms.
- Skillfully handle the cash register responsibilities and contribute to financial tasks when necessary.
- Assist in event and meeting setup, while also contributing to maintaining store readiness over weekends and holidays.
- Make necessary trips to aid neighboring store locations or to conduct deposit drop-offs.
- Follow through on tasks as assigned by store leadership or supervisory personnel.
Qualifications and Experience of Sales Supervisor:
- Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- One year of prior experience in retail, food industry, or customer service is necessary.
- Background in leadership within a relevant environment is advantageous.
- ServSafe or food safety certification can be an asset, but it is not an obligatory requirement.
- Effective at interacting with patrons and coworkers in a lively context.
- Manifesting potent liveliness, flexibility, and a dedication to fulfilling the team’s needs.
- Having a foundation in fundamental computer skills can be useful.
