Job Duties and Responsibilities of Automotive Service Mechanic:

• Diagnose and test vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Install electrical wiring and components based on engineering diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance and detailed inspections.
• Resolve issues with brake, steering, and hydraulic systems.
• Interpret schematics and provide accurate repair estimates.
• Support team collaboration and maintain a high level of work quality.
• Specialize in the installation and repair of adaptive driving equipment.
• Train under mentorship programs and advance through technical tiers.

Qualifications and Experience of Automotive Service Mechanic:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General automotive maintenance experience is essential.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, steering, brake, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in diagnostic testing and electronic troubleshooting.
• OEM or ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
