Job Summary of Forklift Operator:

This position is responsible for other material handling equipment to safely move, organize, and load products within the warehouse. The role ensures accuracy, safety, and efficiency in supporting distribution operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Forklift Operator:

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, stack, and transport products throughout the warehouse facility.
• Read and understand product descriptions, slot locations, and aisle specifications to ensure accurate handling.
• Wrap and label pallets properly to maintain product integrity and ensure safe delivery to stores.
• Conduct pre-operational safety inspections on forklifts and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards and warehouse procedures.
• Assist in inventory control, cycle counts, and accurate order picking as needed.
• Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications and Experience of Forklift Operator:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification or ability to become certified upon hire.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
