Job Summary of Retail Team Member:
The focus of this position, which is part-time, is on delivering personalized customer experiences, recommending health products, and aiding in the smooth running of store operations. Team members are instrumental in nurturing a high-performing, inclusive environment that aligns with GNC’s Live Well mission.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Team Member:
- Provide a pleasant introduction to customers to cultivate a positive and welcoming ambiance.
- Examine customer demands and advise on the most fitting health and wellness merchandise.
- Reach personal and store revenue targets by increasing product awareness.
- Complete online purchases with precision and on schedule.
- Uphold the store’s visual appeal by restocking products and arranging merchandise in an attractive manner.
- Help manage the daily store functions, including the opening and closing routines and the handling of cash flow.
- Stay knowledgeable about nutritional advancements and product specifics to enhance customer support.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Team Member:
- Individuals have to be at least 18 years of age.
- Capacity to remain upright or ambulate for a total of 8 hours in a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds as needed and push or pull up to 20 pounds when necessary.
- Availability extends to mornings, evenings, weekends, and major holidays in the United States.
- Skilled in interpersonal connections and effective communication.
- Skill in operating independently and cooperatively as a team member.
