Job Summary of Food Runner:

Seeking a motivated team player with a keen interest in leadership and providing exceptional food service. The job involves contributing to supervising food operations, maintaining rigorous standards for food safety and excellence, and delivering swift and welcoming service. This individual assists in leading the team, maintaining food presentation criteria, and supporting the Store Manager in establishing a pleasant ambiance for both guests and team members that resonates with the values of the company.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food Runner:

• Offer a friendly salutation to visitors to create a welcoming space.
• Handle the oversight of food supplies, expenditures, discarding of leftovers, preparing dishes, and presenting meals.
• Adhere to sanitation standards and maintain cleanliness in the food service area.
• Reach goals pertaining to food sales, including pizza, breakfast selections, and beverages.
• Support and mentor team members in mastering food safety protocols and procedures for safe food handling.
• Collaborate with external vendors for improved oversight and training in food safety monitoring.
• Maintain inventory levels and rotate food products in a timely manner.
• Combine exceptional customer service with streamlined processing of guest transactions.
• Aid the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader with any additional duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience of Food Runner:

• It is mandatory to have completed high school or obtained a GED.
• At least half a year of experience in the retail or food industry is required.
• year of prior experience in retail, service, or restaurant is desirable.
• It is considered advantageous to have a ServSafe certification, but it is not obligatory.
• Competent in handling interactions with guests and team members in a comfortable manner.
• Displaying dynamic energy, adeptness in adapting swiftly, and fostering a cooperative team environment.
