Sales Support Associate
Job Summary of Sales Support Associate:
The core focus of this role is to provide a welcoming and effective customer service experience within a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities involve operating the register, restocking products, preserving cleanliness, and assisting with various store operations. The individual will receive training in multiple areas to support the store team and ensure the location is fully operational and prepared for customers.
Job duties and expected responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and go above and beyond in providing exceptional customer support.
- Conduct register activities swiftly and accurately, always maintaining a friendly and welcoming presence.
- Keep shelves, coolers, and freezers properly stocked to maintain product availability and inventory levels.
- Prepare coffee and other items in a manner that ensures food safety criteria are met.
- Keep the store clean at all times, which includes the sales floors, food preparation areas, and restroom facilities.
- Flourish in a fast-paced environment by being adaptable and offering support to teammates as required.
- Contribute to tasks allocated by store leaders and encourage a collaborative team environment.
- Operations support may entail occasional work at nearby establishments as required.
Qualifications and Experience of Sales Support Associate:
- Education qualifications not mandated; candidates with a GED or high school degree are favored.
- Preferred qualifications include 3-6 months of experience in retail, food service, or guest service.
- While it is a bonus, a ServSafe or food safety certification is not compulsory.
- Adept at establishing connections with guests and colleagues in a client-focused environment.
- Being dynamic, flexible, team-oriented, and possessing rudimentary computer competencies are helpful attributes.
